For as many as are the promises of God, in Christ they are [all answered] “Yes.” So through Him we say our “Amen” to the glory of God- 2nd Corinthians 1:20, AMP).
Lately I have found myself really tired and questioning a lot of things in my life. Are all the promises written in His word also meant for me, and if so, do I live them?
Am I taking these promises serious? When I read them, do I really care to reread them and own them? Do I care to take them one by one and feed on them? Munch on them and squeeze all the juice out. You know, to really dwell on them and know they actually mean something!
Giving them a good look to the point I believe that these promises in His word are actually REALITIES NOT THEOLOGIES OR PHILOSOPHIES.
They are not concepts. They are His truth and should be my reality.
So, all of God’s promises are YES: they are true, they were long fulfilled in Jesus. And their yes is manifested through me. So if there are promises I cannot see manifesting in my life. I need to check and recheck myself again and again.
The promises find their Amen in me as a child of God. These promises; all of God’s promises should be evident in me through Jesus Christ, for the glory of God.
And because of that, I want to grab hold of those promises, all of them. I believe it is His truth. I believe it is what God knows to be the truth and His truth is the highest. Nothing is above that.
(Then I have a series of letters to me.)
